Cloche and grow - it may still snow!
April is the busiest month for the vegetable grower and most varieties can be sown or planted this month. Use your AcryliCloche® garden cloches to the full and protect seeds and plants from late spring frost and even snow. With so much to plant out you may struggle to find space. Cloches are excellent for using as a 'nursery bed'. Sow seeds directly outside close together and cover with your garden cloche. When they have germinated and grown into small plants transplant them into their final growing positions.
Also use your cloches to stagger your crop. Sow the whole row and cloche just part of it. The seeds under the cloche will germinate, grow and crop quicker than the rest which will stagger your harvest and avoid a glut.
